Privacy Policy for Exion
Exion is a calendar-based expense tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what information Exion accesses, how that information is used, when that information may be shared, and what choices users have.

1. Information Exion Accesses and Stores
Exion may access or store the following categories of information:
Google account information
When you sign in with Google, Exion may access basic account information such as your email address, display name, and profile photo.
Authentication tokens
To keep you signed in and restore your session, Exion may store authentication-related tokens and token expiry information locally on your device.
Google Calendar data
Exion accesses Google Calendar data that you choose to use with the app, including calendars, calendar metadata, and calendar events used for expense tracking. Exion may create, read, update, and delete calendar events and related calendar information when you use those features.
Purchase and entitlement information
If you purchase or restore Pro features through Google Play, Exion may access purchase status information needed to determine whether Pro access is active for your device or account. Exion does not receive your full payment card details.
App preferences and local settings
Exion stores certain settings locally on your device, such as selected calendars, display preferences, onboarding state, and other app configuration choices needed for the app to function properly.
Exion is designed to work with your Google account and Google Calendar data that you choose to connect. Except for app preferences and limited purchase state stored locally on your device, Exion is not intended to store your expense calendar content on a separate developer-operated server.
2. How Exion Uses Information
Exion uses information only to provide and support the app's user-facing features, including:
- Signing you in and restoring your session
- Displaying and managing your selected calendars
- Creating, editing, and deleting expense entries in Google Calendar
- Showing expense totals, filters, and calendar-based views
- Restoring and managing Pro purchase access
- Saving your local app preferences and defaults
- Maintaining app reliability, security, and troubleshooting
Exion does not sell your personal data.
3. Data Sharing
Exion uses third-party services that are necessary for the app to function:
Google Sign-In / Google OAuth
Used to authenticate your account and allow secure sign-in.
Google Calendar API
Used to read and manage the calendar data you choose to use with Exion.
Google Play Billing
Used to process purchases and determine Pro entitlement status.
Except as described above, Exion does not sell or share your personal data with data brokers, advertisers, or unrelated third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Data Handling and Security
Exion takes reasonable steps to protect data in transit and at rest. Authentication and calendar access are handled through Google services and authorized APIs. Certain app preferences and entitlement state may be stored locally on your device.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. While reasonable safeguards are used, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Google account session data and app preferences
Session-related data, locally stored authentication tokens, and app preferences may remain stored on your device until you sign out, clear app data, uninstall the app, or your device backup or restore settings change what is restored after reinstall.
Google Calendar data
Calendar events and calendar changes made through Exion remain in your Google Calendar until you delete them or remove them through Google Calendar or Exion.
Purchase information
Purchase entitlement state may be stored locally to improve app behavior, but purchase ownership is ultimately determined through Google Play services available to the app.
If you want to stop using Exion, you may sign out, remove app data from your device, uninstall the app, and delete any calendar entries created through the app. You may also revoke Exion's access to your Google account or Google Calendar through your Google account permissions, subject to Google's account management tools and policies.
6. Data Deletion Instructions
Exion does not create a separate Exion account and does not store your expense information on Exion servers. Expenses added in Exion are stored as events in the Google Calendar selected by the user. When you delete an expense in Exion, the corresponding Google Calendar event is deleted from that calendar. You can also delete expense entries directly from Google Calendar at any time. To remove Exion’s access to your Google account, open your Google Account permissions and revoke access for Exion. Local app preferences stored on your device can be removed by signing out, clearing the app data, or uninstalling Exion. If you need help with data deletion, contact us at support@exionlabs.net.7. Children's Privacy
Exion is not directed to children under the age of 13. Exion is intended for general users who choose to sign in and use Google Calendar features. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app inappropriately, contact the developer using the email above.
8. International Use
If you use Exion in a country other than the developer's home country, your information may be processed through services operated by Google and other infrastructure providers in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated policy will be posted at the current public Privacy Policy URL with a revised effective date.
